The installation code of SW Drive’s worm gear reducer :

① The reducer must be firmly installed on the machine without looseness;

② During installation, it is necessary to see whether the steering of the reducer is correct again, and then continue;

③ If the reducer has been placed for a period of time (4-6 months) before use, and the oil seal is not immersed in the lubricating oil, it is recommended to replace the oil seal, because the oil seal may have adhered to the shaft or even lose elasticity due to drying up;

④ Please try to avoid placing and installing the reducer in the fierce sun or in an extremely harsh environment;

⑤ Try to provide enough circulating air for the cooling fan of the motor to avoid affecting the efficiency of heat dissipation;

⑥ The standard working ambient temperature of the reducer is from 5°C to 40°C. If it exceeds this temperature range, please contact our personnel;

⑦ All parts (pulley, worm gear, coupling, shaft, etc.) must be firmly installed on the output shaft. Special screw holes or other devices shall be used to ensure the tight connection, avoid bearing damage, and apply lubricating oil on the metal part to avoid shrinkage or oxidation;

⑧ All oil seals and vent plugs shall not be painted;

⑨ Check whether the reducer has lubricating oil before use;

⑩ When using it for the first time, do not immediately raise the load to the maximum, but gradually increase it.
